Exciting role for an experienced Head of Marketing & Brand to lead a team delivering campaigns to drive donor engagement

THE ROLE
This is an exciting time to join the charity following the development of a new organisational strategy aimed at delivering even better outcomes for patients in terms of cures, treatments and transplants.
The Head of Marketing & Brand role sits in Engagement division which leads the work to raise the brand profile and lead engagement with a range of key audiences, recruit critical quality lifesaving donors for the donor register and support income growth and patient impact through marketing.
Leading a team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the marketing and brand strategy, ensuring it is audience and insight led. You will also drive the evolution of the brand in line with strategy, bringing brand excellence to all creative applications and a coherent and engaging brand experience to all touchpoints.
In particular you will lead on multi channel marketing for brand, youth, patients and commercial services. You will use insights and campaign analysis to ensure your team deliver continual improvement and will also oversee brand health measures and contribute to the long-term increase in brand engagement
You will also be responsible for testing, analysis and iterate audience-centric campaigns and content, and make recommendations for further investment as appropriate.
YOU
In order to be considered for the role of Head of Marketing & brand, you will need:
- significant experience in team leadership and management with a proven
ability to inspire, nurture, empower and motivate others to become a high
performing team
- Extensive experience of brand and marketing strategy implementation
across all channels and agency management experience.
- Experience of executing long term marketing and content strategies, plans and implementing integrated audience-centric multi-channel campaigns with experience of segmentation methods and user experience design principles.
- Experience of overseeing the integration and optimisation of owned
digital properties - web, email, and journeys to ensure we are creating
the highest quality digital experiences.
- Understanding of the role of brand in a charity to support all elements of
their work including pioneering work in cell and gene therapies aimed at commercial markets, along with traditional activity.
- Experience of translating complicated concepts to compelling messaging
for diverse and targeted audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and developing relationships at all levels and disciplines internally.
YOU ALSO NEED TO BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO UPTO 2 DAYS A WEEK IN CENTRAL LONDON AND MUST HAVE VALID UK WORKING RIGHTS.
