Head Of Mechanical Services

Head of Mechanical Services required by a rapidly growing Facilities Management company with North West coverage for a very diverse protfolio of commercial sites including Hospitals, Museums, Police Stations, Schools and Libraries.

Responsisibilities
Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Mechanical Services department in alignment with overall company goals. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and innovative solutions to enhance Mechanical Services offerings.
Team Management:

Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of skilled engineers, technicians, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment, emphasising professional development and continuous improvement.
Project Execution:

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of Mechanical Services projects. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Client Relationship Management:

Collaborate with clients to understand their Mechanical Services needs and expectations. Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns proactively and ensuring overall satisfaction.
Budgeting and Financial Management:

Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met. Implement cost-effective measures to optimise resource utilisation and maximise profitability.
Quality Assurance:

Establish and enforce quality standards for Mechanical Services, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client specifications. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to maintain high-quality service delivery.
Technical Expertise:

Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in Mechanical Services. Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience
In-depth knowledge of Mechanical systems, equipment, and industry standards
Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Services, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Experience in the same or similar role within Facilities Management
