Head of Modelling and Performance

Salary: up to £65,000

Location: Bristol

A new opportunity has opened within our seeker team working on developing complex algorithms and subsystem models. This role is for an experienced systems engineer with experience of team leadership and delivery to drive a medium sized team through development and certification activities.

The Opportunity:

• Lead technical development of Seeker performance
• Lead development of algorithms and modelling framework to produce software
• Predict seeker performance alongside integrated missile models
• Develop scene generation capabilities, defining studies to explore performance
• Bring algorithm development through the full life cycle
• Be involved in supporting field trials, and crafting industrial capabilities
• Progress through numerous routes#
• Interact with partners across multi-national and discipline engineering team

Requirements:

• Programme management skills – including budgets risk and opportunities
• Strong stakeholder management to deputise for senior leadership and represent the seeker team
• Proven experience in development of seeker technologies
• Track record of innovative approach to working
