Flagship site with over 1000 FTEs, full autonomy to lead how you see fit, development plan in place within 12 weeks to ensure career progression.
Sound interesting? Read on…
You'll be leading a complex food manufacturing site with over 1000 FTEs alongside a leadership team whose focus, along with the businesses, is people and their development - over 40% of their vacancies are filled by internal moves and promotions!
Within 12 weeks of starting, you'll have a development plan in place and know your direction.
You'll be encouraged to bring new ideas and innovative ways of working to your team where you'll have the freedom to challenge the norm - this isn't a role where you will hit a glass ceiling or become bored!
You will have full autonomy, working closely with the leadership team, taking the reins for a wider role in your manager absence and eventually progressing your career in whichever direction you wish.
By now, you'll be able to tell people are key here and engagement with the whole team is vital - they're a passionate business and want to see this running through their teams with you out on the shop floor leading the way.
If this sounds like the challenge you're looking for - get in touch today!

What you'll do

  • Create a highly engaged community on site, along site the leadership team, delivering regular cascades and working collaboratively across all functions.
  • By formulating and implementing a manufacturing plan, you'll ensure support is in place across each area to maximise performance against targets.
  • Lead all production elements for the site, to ensure that functional capability and team performance are built and directed to deliver business plans and targets.
  • Ensuring that customers demand can be met through effective decision making and feasibility of new products/launches.

What experience you'll need

  • You will need food manufacturing experience, ideally chilled/fresh/frozen and must have worked at a senior level leading large teams in fast moving operations.
  • Have demonstrable experience taking operations through growth and change, engaging with varied teams in a diverse environment.
  • You also need to have a solid understanding and experience of safety within manufacturing environments, preferably IOSH/NEBOSH.

If you are working at a senior level within food manufacturing - get in touch to find out more!
