The Client:
Our client is a provider of Energy Solutions, specialising in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of low-carbon energy projects.
The Role:
As the Head of Planning, you will oversee the planning of projects and manage the workload demands for tenders, ensuring the timely and budget-compliant delivery of all projects.
Responsibilities:
* Resource planning for all projects and tender activities, ensuring alignment with workload demands.
* Establishing a service standard for resource allocation to bids / secured projects.
* Detailed and accurate planning and progress analysis.
* Engaging project and bid teams in program preparation and progress reporting.
* Strategic reporting with a focus on forensic planning analysis for securing commercial entitlement.
* Representation of contract knowledge and specifics within the program.
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Head of Planning or in a similar role.
* Prior experience in Planning and Project Management reporting for large-scale construction / engineering projects.
* Experience with REFIT, Low Carbon Projects, Engineering Procurement Construction, and Energy Performance Contracts and EfW.
* Hold an HNC / HND qualification in Engineering or Construction discipline.
* Knowledge of Planning requirements in JCT, NEC, FIDIC, and CEF standard contract forms.
* Skilled in working with planning tools / software.
