Job Title: Head of Private Family Law Department – Solicitor 8 PQE +
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000+ DOE
Working Arrangements: Hybrid/office/home
My client, a reputable law firm in Liverpool city centre, are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Private Family Law Department to set up a Private Family Department, due to significant growth of the firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects the department set up, working processes, business development, case management and supervision of other family fee earners as the department grows.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a talented individual to make a significant impact and contribute to the continued success and growth of the firm.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Private Family Law Department.
Manage a diverse caseload of complex Family Law matters, including divorce, child custody, financial disputes, and domestic violence cases.
Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and support staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Actively participate in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm's client base.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide outstanding client care.
Stay abreast of developments in Family Law and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor 8 PQE + with significant experience in Private Family Law.
Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload of Family Law matters.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
Commercial acumen and a strategic approach to business development.
Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining high professional standards.
Full practising certificate issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
