Pod Talent have partnered with an innovative and fast-growing food manufacturing brand that aims to revolutionise the food subscription industry to recruit a Head of Procurement to join the team and help achieve their ambitious growth plans! Having created an entirely new category within the industry, the brand is scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by one of the industries largest food manufacturing brands!
The Head of Procurement will be hands-on liaising with senior stakeholders both internally and externally to deliver a resilient supply base to fit the high growth needs over the next few years. You will manage the strategy for critical supply partners, in both direct and indirect categories, whilst developing your team.

Some Head of Procurement responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with procurement manages and internal stakeholders to build a robust and competitive supply network in the UK & Europe.
• Leading the recruitment process to create your own team!
• Managing the entire procurement function, across indirect, raw materials, ingredients and packaging.
• Negotiating high risk and high dependency terms, managing governance and optimising multi-territory and multi category supply agreements

What are they looking for?

• A demonstrated food/ FMCG manufacturing background, managing a variety of categories, with a spend upwards of £60m.
• Experience working with contract manufacturing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills – influencing and building high trust relationships.
