Job Title: Head of Projects
Location: Manchester, M1
Annual Salary: Up to £72,000 (DOE)
Working Days: Monday to Friday, Hybrid
Purpose of the Head of Projects:
The purpose of the Head of Projects is to lead and manage furniture installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards, while also fostering the growth and development of project management and site teams.
Key Duties:
- Oversee and manage a team of project managers and site teams
- Develop and implement effective pre-site setup procedures
- Create and manage project programs
- Lead delivery management efforts
- Conduct regular valuations of project progress
- Manage applications and approvals
- Continuously evaluate and improve the installation process
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership in resolving any project-related issues
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of project objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Construction Management, or a related field (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
- Target-focused and committed to continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with problem-solving skills
- Ownership and pride in performance, contributing to company success
