The Company
This exciting and prestigious engineering and design consultancy have a particular focus on electric vehicle and bespoke projects.
The Role
As the Head of Purchasing, you will take responsibility for all goods and services, as well as developing strategic partnerships with key suppliers.
You will be responsible for defining purchasing policies, and also reporting on business performance.
As Head of Purchasing will work closely with Programme Management team, business development and sales teams and other key stakeholders.
The Person
You will have demonstrable experience of working in a senior purchasing role, within the automotive, engineering or manufacturing industry together with a strong technical background to enable you to converse between both suppliers and engineering, as well as operations. You will also have:
* Experience managing and developing a small team.
* Experience managing and building relationships with third party logistics providers.
* A strong understanding of ERP system management will be crucial.
