SalaryLeading Electronics manufacturer now requires a Head of Quality to manage their quality department and ensure customers receive products of the necessary standard.
New Product Introduction responsibilities will also fall within the remit of this role, preparing plans for all NPI projects and coordinating with the necessary teams to facilitate delivery.
The role:
- Manage, develop, and motivate the Quality department and team.
- Work with internal teams to integrate quality objectives into business objectives and implement manufacturing plans for products.
- Prepare plans for all NPI projects ensuring effective execution in line with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
- Develop Quality improvement strategies for the organisation.
- Monitor the business cost of Poor-quality products, customer complaints and other quality indicators - Driving projects to remove recurring issues and establish overall improvements.
- Perform internal and supplier quality audits to ensure the Quality Management system is fit for purpose.
Key requirements:
- Demonstrable experience within an Electronic Engineering environment. (preferably leading QM change).
- Strong Quality management experience (completed successful improvement projects).
- Strong knowledge of electronic/wireless products and their manufacturing process.
- Continuous improvement skills such as PFMEA, FMEA, SPC or 8D.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor teams.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence quality/manufacturing decisions.
This fantastic opportunity provides a base salary of GBP65,000 plus excellent benefits.
In terms of office location, this role is based out of Milton Keynes.
