Head of Quality (m/f/d)
- Team leadership:You will lead the local Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams and ensure a good talent pipeline regarding performance and potential. You will set and monitor targets, assess performance and provide guidance.
- Improve the quality and food safety systems:You will maintain and improve the shop floor quality and technology guided by regional / global policies and implement local Vendor and Customer Quality programmes aligned with global / regional policies. Additionally you are responsible for improvements to the local quality and food safety systems including documentation and auditing against standards within our large production facility.
- Project and Change Management:You will oversee local / regional projects and enable knowledge/best practices sharing within your team and organisation. Moreover you will manage change processes which are relevant to the position guided by global policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or business degree with technical experience
- Function related experience of 5 years of which at least 2 years in equivalent position
- Business fluency in English
- Good project management skills and utilisation of the project management techniques
- Good understanding of relevant on site QIC, FC&A and Ops processes (Ingredient life cycle Management, Vendor Quality, Customer Quality requirements and Formula management, Continuous improvement, Complaint, Issue and Crisis Management, Industrialization, Audit and Change Management)
- Broad knowledge on order fulfilment, brief management, regulatory and new ideas processes (IDDC)
- Good understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (liquids, spray drying, powder blending, Emulsions, separations, and extractions)
- Solid knowledge of main IT systems (SAP, AVAP, and ILM) and Sense Colour legacy systems
- Good understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems (FSSC/BRC, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP, and HACCP)
