HEAD OF QUALITY & SAFETY - SOCIAL CARE & EDUCATION
Due to an internal move, we are looking for a new member of our Senior Leadership Team, who will be a key member of the quality and practice function reporting into our Quality Director.
We’ve had 18 months of continued improvements demonstrated by the implementation and embedding of a continuous quality improvement culture based on strong learning of things that have gone well, or have gone wrong. We have launched our Meaningful Life model. This entails our colleagues working closely with the people we support and their families, to agree and describe what a meaningful life and a fulfilling future could look like for them. Every person will have an individualised plan, that is integrated between home and school, with bespoke life goals to encourage a journey to increased independence, and a happy fulfilled life.
A therapeutically informed approach is our golden thread to enabling meaningful lives for individuals accessing our services. It is a multi-disciplinary collaboration between the individual, their family, therapeutic, education, and residential professionals to support and enhance the physical, mental, emotional, and social wellbeing of the individuals we support.
We would like to talk to individuals who have the experience and skills to excel in this newly defined role as Head of Quality & Safety and who will lead the team through the next stage of the meaningful life development.
This role will become the Quality and Safety Business Partner to the Managing Director to ensure the highest standards of care, support, safety, education, regulatory compliance, and best practice, across all services, at all times.
You will be leading the functional team of Quality business partners, setting and delivering functional strategy and along with your senior leadership team peer group be part of leading the organisation.
