Our client is looking for an inspirational individual to lead, develop and motivate our teams and individuals, supporting their inclusive culture and ensuring that performance measures are in place to drive improvement and innovation.
With a desire to challenge the status quo, you’ll be able to encourage managers to develop their teams, delivering exceptional services and ensuring that the voice of the customer is embedded throughout Communities. You’ll represent the department on all functions including income recovery, allocations, community safety, estates and tenancy management, independent living for older persons and customer involvement, maintaining the relevant budgets and identifying area of both improvement and operational risk. As a strategic thinker, you’ll collaborate with other senior managers, developing initiatives and proposals that will enhance our customers’ experiences. As an ambassador for our client, you will share in their values and ethos, positively promoting the brand profile and developing key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will hold a relevant professional housing qualification and will be educated to degree level or equivalent. You’ll be a successful leader and able to manage, motivate and develop individuals and encourage managers to set high standards across the teams. You will have extensive experience and knowledge of working in social housing across a range of activities and tenures and will demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development. You’ll have experience of financial management and will be keen to ensure value for money without compromising on the service. With experience of using developed data analytical skills to aid decision making, manage performance and risk and to identify issues and opportunities, you will feel at ease interpreting complex data and presenting the information accurately to diverse audiences.

The role is Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. While the main offices are currently based in Sherwood Rise in Nottinghamshire, our client is very excited about their move to Clifton in late 2024 to our brand-new purpose-built offices. The role is partially agile, with travel across our sites in East Midlands required at times.
