Head of SCADA

Our customer is in market leader in the design, construction, and maintenance of ground-mounted Solar Power Plants across Europe. A core element of their business is the Operation and Maintenance of existing plants - and they're offering a great opportunity to join as a Head of SCADA.

Their HQ is in Kolitzheim, but the role could also be handled from Würzburg, Nuremberg, or Berlin.

The business will consider Senior candidates looking to step in a managerial role, or SCADA specialists who're looking to transition into the Renewable Energy Sector.

As a Head of SCADA you will:

• Lead the SCADA team from a technical and managerial perspective.
• Ensure SCADA systems are implemented correctly into new projects
• Plan and commission DCS and SCADA systems for solar projects across the globe
• Coordinate external service providers, and support technicians during field assignments.

The ideal candidates has:

• Completed technical or vocational studies in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
• Several years' experience in the field of I&C technology (advantageous if in the Energy sector)
• Experience in the design and implementation of Electrical and Network Technology Systems
• Great experience with Modbus
• German and English language skills
• Leadership or employee management experience
