An exciting new role on the back of sustained business growth for this successful Suffolk-based global manufacturer. Reporting into the VP of Supply Chain and working as part of an established team, this role will have tangible strategic responsibilities and make a significant contribution to the success of this organisation. Key areas of focus will include: supplier performance management; achieving annual cost reduction targets; commercial contract management; ensuring timely availability of new parts; and to play a proactive role in risk management.

To succeed in this role you will have operated in a Supply Chain or purchasing leadership capacity in an Engineering, Manufacturing or similar organisation with experience of managing different commodity groups. With excellent negotiation skills, you will be able to demonstrate resilience and perseverance to deliver in a complex working environment with the ability to multitask and maintain a high level of attention to detail. You will have exceptional communication and relationship-building skills and be open to future opportunities for personal and career development.
