Your new company is a highly established 'Built Consultancy'. They have offices across the Northwest and are involved across multiple sectors including: Industrial, Local Authority, Commercial, Residential, Offices and Leisure.

As a medium-sized company with around 40 members of staff, you will have the project and client exposure that you may not be getting presently and the in-work challenges that you are seeking.
Your new role
1. Drive the growth of our sustainability service:
- Identify new opportunities to enhance our existing client base and attract new clients.
- Collaborate with the business development team to promote sustainability services effectively.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our sustainability service offerings.
2. Manage the sustainability team:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sustainability team.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
3. Ensure expertise in key sustainability areas:
- Possess a strong knowledge of Non-Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), EPC improvement reports, Carbon Assessment Reporting and Renewables.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to sustainability.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
4. Client relationship management:
- Work closely with clients to understand their sustainability needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Act as a trusted advisor, offering sustainable solutions to meet client objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, environmental science, engineering).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the built environment sector.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of EPCs, EPC improvement reports, Carbon Assessment Reporting and Renewables.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results.
- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
