About the Role
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will lead the development, progression and operational excellence of the Reception, Reservations, Country Club, Groups and Events and Spa Teams. This is a people focussed leadership position within the Auchrannie management team which requires excellent organisational skills, operational knowledge and team management ability to achieve 5 star service standards across all Front of House departments.
In this role you will:
- lead the smooth running of the Reception, Reservations, ASPA, Country Club and Groups and Events team.
- identify and action training development needs of individuals within the team and ensure all team members are delivering five-star awesome customer service.
- support succession planning across the Department by identifying and nurturing talent and working closely with the Aspa Manager and Reception Supervisors.
- enable a positive and engaged workplace culture where all team members feel valued and included.
- review monthly performance and analyse departmental results with Business Development Manager
- ensure that SOP’s for all departments are relevant, comprehensive and robust.
- assist in ensuring the most efficient systems and processes are being used within the team and recommend and implement changes as required.
- oversee department resource planning, rotas and recruitment to match business requirements
- provide front line cover as required to all the above-named departments
To be suitable for this role you will:
- demonstrate considerable experience in a Reception and Reservations management role, gained in a 4/5\* hotel or resort environment.
- be a naturally confident and engaging manager who demonstrates excellent people management skills and enjoys working alongside their team
- lead by example and deliver 5 star service with flair and personality.
- show a desire to learn and continue personal growth and professional development
