Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our travel agents, customers, and partners have a seamless experience while accessing and booking travel services through the Junction platform.
Responsibilities:
As the Head of Travel Operations, your role encompasses:
- Overall management and performance of Travel Operations, including client servicing, employee management, and budgetary control.
- Understanding and implementing client policies and processes, ensuring operational alignment.
- Providing expertise on a wide spectrum of Travel supplier rules and industry knowledge.
- Reviewing and optimizing work processes, procedures, and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitoring operations performance, implementing improvement programs, and aligning with company objectives.
- Serving as the primary liaison between account managers and operational staff, ensuring seamless communication and client satisfaction.
- Managing key performance metrics, evaluating measurements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leading new business implementations successfully, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
- Managing overall budget and performance against budget, making adjustments as necessary.
- Evaluating and maintaining operation staffing levels to meet business demands.
- Handling all assigned administrative tasks effectively.
- Leading change efforts within the team, providing clear communication and guidance.
About You:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five years of corporate travel experience, with managerial experience preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the travel industry, including GDS systems like Sabre and Amadeus.
- Experience in creating SOPs and workflows for specialised travel.
- Prior budget and cost management experience.
