Head of Treasury

Trinity House Group are supporting a large Private Equity backed business to recruit a Head of Treasury. The business has a national presence and hybrid working policy enabling you to be based in either in the London or Midlands areas.

Reporting to an impressive Group Finance Director you will be fully responsible for managing all treasury activities. The role offers a broad range of duties including oversight of all cash, debt, capex (working capital), forex risk management, leading & developing the team, control and governance over the UK group treasury function.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the cash flow forecasting across the group
• Ensure whole organisational compliance with the necessary regulatory requirements, approved treasury management policies and Financial Golden Rules
• Oversee, shape and manage the strategic relationship between capital, accounting and liquidity
• Work closely with banks to maintain and build strong banking relationships and negotiate terms
• Management and reporting of all Treasury related Operational and Strategic risks
• Working across the finance function to develop and maintain effective oversight on cash requirements and working capital targets
• Managing foreign exchange risk and currency flows to determining optimum funding strategies
• Perform month end reporting requirement and lead reporting on Treasury matters to the Audit Committee
• Prepare accurate covenant compliance statements on a timely basis
• Cash management, monitor cash balances, implement day-to-day cash controls, administrate cash pooling and investments
• Coordinate treasury policy and consistent processes across the business

Skills & Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA / ACT qualified
• Have excellent knowledge of working capital cost control, finance processes and systems
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal & external partners
• Highly organised, able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and to manage conflicting priorities
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with complex information and present in a clear format
