Head of Visitor Services

£40,234 - £41,969 per annum
Our client is one of the UK’s fastest-growing nature conservation organisations and seeks to appoint a Head of Visitor Services to drive forward growth in income and engagement at the Trust’s flagship Nature Discovery Centres.
You will set the direction and lead the development and implementation of a joined-up Visitor Services and Experience Plan that builds on the current business, whilst looking to diversify and grow commercial opportunities for the future.
A confident communicator with strong influencing skills, you will generate ‘profit for purpose’ at the same time as ensuring the centres play their part for people and the planet too. The role spans both strategic planning, project and operational delivery and is a key member of the Trust’s Extended Leadership Team. This is a challenging and varied role, managing changing priorities and multiple workstreams.
You will have a track record in building and managing successful visitor-focused commercial operations and managing multi-site teams to develop year-round, high-quality, engaging and profitable visitor attractions. With a deep understanding of Visitor experience and customer care and the relationship to growing income and brand loyalty, you will have a successful track record of building and motivating high-performing teams to increase footfall, engagement, and income in order to achieve ambitious targets.
