Job Description

  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive Vulnerability Management program aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a team of Vulnerability analysts in identifying, prioritising, and remediating vulnerabilities across our IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement vulnerability scanning strategies and processes, utilising industry-standard tools and techniques.
  • Analyse vulnerability data, assess potential risks, and recommend appropriate remediation actions to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT operations, development, security) to ensure timely and effective remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Track and report on Vulnerability Management program metrics and KPIs, demonstrating the program's effectiveness and value.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security best practices, continuously improving the program's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness within the organisation, promoting proactive security practices and employee engagement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of overall Vulnerability Management experience. Experience working in a government environment is mandatory. Additional experience of working with recognised consulting firms and/or working within large, complex businesses, leading multiple engagements would be preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing Vulnerability Management teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Vulnerability scanning tools, vulnerability assessment methodologies, and security frameworks.
