Head Pastry Chef, Baker, Bakery Manager, Patisserie, Leeds
This is an initial 6 month contract with a view to a permanent position.
As a Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the baking operations in a bakery establishment. Your role will involve leading a team of bakers and Pastry Chefs to create and produce high-quality bakes a and pastries. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized baking environment.
In order to be considered you will:
- Be passionate about Patisserie
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role, demonstrating comprehensive expertise in bakery operations and team leadership
- Have in-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure compliance and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to efficiently coordinate production schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills to motivate and mentor bakery staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
