Ambitious Achievers, Committed Learners and Responsible Citizens
Due to the current Headteacher’s career progression the pupils, staff and Governors of this friendly, inclusive and successful small rural Church school are looking for an enthusiastic Headteacher. We are looking for someone with warmth and energy to continue to build upon the School’s achievements ideally with SENCO knowledge and experience.
Are you driven by the belief that every child holds the potential for extraordinary achievement? Are you eager to embark on a fulfilling journey where each day presents the chance to nurture young minds and ignite greatness? Do you aspire to join an inspiring team that feels like an extended family, united in a shared mission?
At Kniveton, we believe in the boundless potential of every child to achieve the extraordinary. Our ethos is not just a statement, but a way of life ingrained in every aspect of our school community. When a child steps through our doors, they become part of a supportive family dedicated to cultivating ambitious achievers, committed learners, and responsible citizens.
With our small class sizes, we build more than just educational environments – we forge meaningful, long-lasting relationships with each child. These connections allow us to understand their unique inspirations and aspirations, empowering us to challenge them to reach new heights in every endeavour.
But it's not just about what happens within our school walls. Situated amidst the stunning landscapes of the Derbyshire Dales, we harness the beauty of nature to foster a love for the great outdoors. From lessons in our forest area to adventures at Carsington Water, we ensure our students embrace the world around them, broadening their horizons with half-termly excursions to iconic locations like the Chatsworth Estate and Buxton Opera House.
Led by our dedicated staff, we uphold the highest standards of achievement, consistently ranking in the top 1% in the country. Our team is committed to inspiring genuine curiosity and instilling a thirst for knowledge in every child, guiding them on a transformative journey from Reception through to Year 6.
If you're passionate about education, thrive in a supportive community, and are ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners, we invite you to join us at Kniveton C of E Primary School. Apply now and be part of something truly special.
