St Andrew’s is a wonderful school with a recent Good Ofsted outcome, a skilled and happy, committed team, wonderful pupils and a supportive community strong links with St Andrew’s Church. The school prides itself on its rich and vibrant curriculum that makes the most of its incredible rural location, and the children, parents and community members would love to see this relationship continue to flourish.
As a Church School leader, you must be committed to upholding the Christian distinctiveness of the school developing its Christian character through the educational offer. We welcome applicants with and without experience of leading church schools.
You will also be joining our School Trust. We are committed to improving educational outcomes for the most disadvantaged children. If you feel inspired by an organisation that works collectively for the benefit of all children… we could be the Trust for you!
As well as providing the very best education for the children, you will be part of a wider team of Headteachers who develop practice, share expertise, and innovate for the benefit of all children and colleagues within the Trust. We are proud that we are a single organisation that celebrates achievement, where you will feel professionally nourished through our extensive development practice and strong wellbeing offer.
We offer our Headteachers the opportunity to focus on what they love! Developing teaching and learning. Our fully centralised business support function means you will not be tied down with finance, HR, Estates, IT etc. We want you to be able to improve education and focus on the reason you want to become a Headteacher – the children.
We want to support you in deciding if we are a School Trust that you would like to join. We strongly recommend that you arrange a visit to the school and a virtual call with our Trust Lead so that you can better understand if we are an organisation which excites you and can support you to flourish.
