As an accomplished Executive Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Headteacher and other members of the leadership team at our brilliant secondary school in Havering. Your mission is to provide flawless professional administrative and personal support, ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s administrative functions.
Executive Assistant to Headteacher Responsibilities:
- Diary Management and Meeting Coordination:
- Efficiently manage the Headteacher’s calendar, arrange meetings, and set appointments.
- Handle associated enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist SLT with recruitment.
- Produce letters, reports, minutes, and other essential correspondence as required.
- Edit and finalize letters to an excellent standard, paying attention to spelling, punctuation, grammar, and Trust-specific terminology.
- Demonstrate discretion and confidentiality while handling sensitive data.
- Collaborate with the Clerking department to prepare pupil exclusion/suspension packs following procedures and timelines.
- Assist in organising and promoting school events.
- Ensure seamless execution of event logistics.
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant (EA) or Personal Assistant (PA).
- Familiarity with working within a school support team.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging administrative environment.
