Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health & Safety Administrator to join our team. The Health & Safety Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, with knowledge of first aid, report writing, and root cause analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Train employees on safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop preventative measures
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions taken
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans
- Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Safety Administrator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in report writing and record keeping
- Experience of Saeker System preferred.
