We are currently seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Advisor to join our bustling team in Peterborough.

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will manage the COSHH database, ensuring safe chemical storage through user training. You will liaise with external stakeholders such as HSE, Environment Agency, and Pollution Prevention Control Officers. You will oversee and conduct audits as needed, developing action plans to address identified issues. Delivering IOSH training is part of your responsibilities, followed by ensuring learning integration within teams. You will provide support for daily inquiries, investigations, and risk assessments across sites. Managing H&S training, including site inductions, falls within your purview. You will also carry out waste calculations and assist cross-functional teams in managing their waste streams, facilitating their reuse when possible. Coaching the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to ensure competence and readiness is crucial. You will organise fire drills, implement continuous improvements and address annual FRA findings. Additionally, you will conduct weekly fire alarm tests and coordinate visits with the local fire brigade as necessary.

Health and Safety Advisor Requirements:
