£36,000 - £40,000 with expenses paid and lots of benefits to boot, you will be joining a well established company with new sites opening each year.
Reporting in to the Head of H&S; your role will be to support the development, embedding and the maintenance of a culture across the company.
As a rapidly expanding business; you'll work closely with our Estates team, where you'll take an active involvement in the development of new sites and major refurbishment projects to ensure Health and Safety is fully considered at all stages.
The plan over time will be to grow the team and make this role regional rather than National.
You'll ensure that all company documentation relating to H&S is continuously reviewed and is up to date, readily understood and accessible and is compliant with all regulatory, legislative and company requirements.
You will ensure that a programme of annual Health and Safety Audits is carried out and a robust process is in place to ensure actions are carried out in a prompt and cost effective manner.
You will need:
- NEBOSH Diploma qualified or NCRQ Certificate (or equivalent)
- Significant Health and Safety experience, gained in a multi-site environment,
- Graduate (Certified) member of a relevant industry body such as IOSH or equivalent
- In-depth understanding of EU & UK Health and Safety legislation
- Demonstrable record of driving significant change.
- Flexible approach to work, effective management of priorities and workload
- Able to effectively lead and manage teams and projects in a matrix structure
- Ability to communicate effectively and influence and engage at all levels
- This role will require regular travel including some overnight stays
