Health and Safety Assistant (12-Month FTC)

Salary: £35,000 + Benefits

We've been engaged by a well-established Property Management company operating across Buckinghamshire to bring onboard a Health and Safety Assistant to work closely with the Assistant Director of Health and Safety and with the wider team to drive a positive Health and Safety culture and provide support across the organisation.

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, covering for the current postholder on maternity leave. The role will lead on administrative tasks for Health and Safety matters across the large portfolio of properties, aiming to support the Health and Safety performance across the portfolio and helping to share best practice across sites.

Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Assistantwill include:

• Working closely with the Assistant Director of Health & Safety and other key stakeholders to contribute towards supporting culture of best practice Health and Safety across the property portfolio
• Taking part and co-ordinating regular Health and Safety initiatives to ensure the consistency of Health and Safety performance
• Day-to-day support on Health and Safety including investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions to drive performance improvements
• Supporting the wider team in identifying opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of the Health and Safety function both internally and externally

The successful Health and Safety Assistantwill have:

• NEBOSH General Certificate/equivalent
• Experience in a similar role within Health and Safety administration/coordination, ideally from a property or facilities management background
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
