Health And Safety Manager

This Health and Safety Manager position is with a globally leading chemical manufacturing company specialising in the manufacture of bespoke resins. The main purpose of the Health and Safety Manager is to ensure the effectiveness of the EHS department and team.

Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager;

• Management, implementation and communication of the management systems (ISO45001).
• Accident and incident investigations, report findings and identify countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence by RCA and risk management.
• Acknowledge, investigate and resolve non-conformance.
• Organise all required H&S training programmes for relevant site personnel.
• Engaging in a professional development programme to support with progression through the company.

To be successful in this position as Health and Safety Manager, previous experience working and leading H&S within manufacturing and specifically chemical / COMAH operations would be beneficial. Knowledge of ISO45001 is essential to the success of this position.
