Health and Safety Officer

£38,494.00 per annum (plus £1239.00 ECU payment)

37hours per week

Based from Head Office, CF24 1GG. Agile working, excellentwork life balance

The opportunity:

Are you passionate about ensuring the safety and well-being of others? Are you detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and mitigating risks? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join our team and help us provide a comprehensiveservice to Linc. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, identifying hazards, and developing practical solutions to ensure the Health and Safety of our staff and tenants.

If you are passionate about promoting Health and Safety in the workplace, possess a strong knowledge of legislation and guidance, and have experience in risk management, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.

What we need from you:

  • Thorough working knowledge of current Health and Safety and asbestos legislation and guidance across various disciplines and specialities.

  • Expertise in risk management in healthcare and construction environments

  • Ability to use initiative to progress work activities and collaborate with other to provide a comprehensive risk management service

  • Confident in liaising with external agencies to report incidents within specified time frames and facilitate investigations

  • Nebosh General Certificate in Health & Safety is essential for this post and ideally the candidate will be working towards, or already hold a Nebosh Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety , or an equivalent Level 6 Health & Safety qualification. The post also requires a good understanding of asbestos legislation. Additional training will be provided if necessary.
