Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients in various settings. Duties: - Support healthcare professionals in delivering patient care - Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Help patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises - Perform basic medical tasks, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication under supervision - Maintain accurate patient records and assist in updating care plans - Provide emotional support to patients and their families - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care Requirements: - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Ability to work in diverse healthcare settings including home care and care homes - Proficiency in English to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues - Basic IT skills to update electronic health records and use healthcare software - Valid driver's license for transportation purposes - Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not mandatory Join our team as a Healthcare Assistant and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.
