I am a young man in my 30’s and I live in GU35. I have complex care needs. I like to go out on social events doing various activities during the day and need my Carers to do this. I am looking for 1 carer to join my team. I am looking for a caring person who would like to get to know me and understands my needs.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Health and Social Care setting, although the right attitude might be a good place to start. You must also be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity, promoting my independence and respect my home.
The successful candidate must be flexible and take on a practical ‘can do’ attitude towards all aspects of my care. As a good communicator you will have the ability to complete all tasks where necessary. Full training will be provided as necessary.
You will need to liaise with my family, my Provider and several other health professions involved in my life.
Hours required 14 hours week 1 / 24 hours week 2
The role is will be paid at £12.50 per hour weekday and weekends. There will also be opportunity for overtime as and when required.
Ideal qualities: Car drivers in order for me to access the community. Preferably holding a full, clean, UK driving license and non-smokers.
5.6 weeks holiday is awarded per year as standard (pro rata for part time positions). Employees are also able to join the Company Pension scheme after 3 months’ service, subject to the rules of the scheme, as well as our Cash Back Health Plan after completion of a successful probation period.
