Health Care Assistant

Contract: 30 hour contract available, contract includes working every other weekendShifts: 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in creating care plans, possess basic IT knowledge, and hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Support individuals with mobility and provide assistance with walking or using mobility aids
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of individual care plans
- Utilise basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
- Drive to different locations to provide care services as required

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Ability to create and implement care plans effectively
- Basic IT proficiency for record-keeping purposes
- Valid driving licence for transportation needs
