A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant or Nurse Associate to join our friendly team working at Box Surgery. We are based over 2 sites, so the candidate must be able to travel.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Patient health checks
ECG recording
Phlebotomy
Diabetic review including foot checks.
Blood pressure monitoring
B12/Influenza/Pneumonia/Shingles vaccination
Simple dressings including attending of local leg club.
Chaperoning duties
Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses.
Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording.
Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms

The post-holder will implement and lead on a full range of promotion and management their own and others health and safety and infection control as defined in the practice Health & Safety policy, the practice Health & Safety manual, and the practice Infection Control policy and published procedures. Safe management of sharps procedures including training, use, storage, and disposal
