You’ll have the skills and confidence to make sure our pragmatic approach to health and safety management is woven through all that we do.
Reporting into the Assistant Director for Housing Maintenance, Investment and Corporate Health & Safety, you will quickly become part of an agile team and take on the line management of one health and safety officer.
Main Responsibility
- Working with other teams to understand what they do so you support them to deliver their services safely
- Investigating incidents to make sure that colleagues are supported and improvements made in risk control
- Monitoring MKCC’s H&S performance so that we understand our risk profile
- Leading on preparing reports, communications and updates for colleagues and leadership team
The Ideal Candidate
Qualified and experienced H&S professional who enjoys building positive proactive relationships which makes things safer.
Significant experience in working in various sectors which means you have the ability to apply your H&S knowledge in a pragmatic way.
You will be very organised, great with people and great with understanding data and presenting it clearly with next steps
For this role you are required to have a Full UK Driving Licence and provide evidence of your Vehicle Insurance with Business cover and use of a vehicle . If you are successful, you will be required to supply evidence of your Licence prior to starting the role

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
