Summary
Lead with the functions of the HSEQ department, reporting to the Senior HSEQ Manager and assisting with delivering HSEQ excellence and to provide professional health and safety advice and support to the company.
Responsibilities:
● Enforcing the correct use of safe systems of work.
● Assist with developing and continually improving safe systems of work.
● Monitor HSE reporting and identify trends through Safety Observation Reports and Audits.
● Identify and investigate HSE incidents and report to the HSE Manager.
● Identify training needs and educate employees on HSE matters.
● Monitor employee health and well-being through regular assessments.
● Consultation and participation with employees regarding HSE matters.
● Completion of internal audits as per programme.
● Revise processes, reports etc periodically to identify hidden risks or non conformity issues.
● Complete operational and depot audits to ensure health and safety best practice and legal
compliance.
● Monitoring of employee health and mental health wellbeing.
● Monitor HSEQ performance from other departments and assist where necessary.
● Complete internal audits as appropriate and as per a scheduled programme.
● Assist in the continual improvement of the Integrated Management System and ensure all
departments discharge their responsibilities as appropriate.
● Ensure that all company documentation is reviewed as required.
● Assist with consultation of employees through regular meetings as appropriate.
● Prepare reports and analysis for senior management as required.
● Follow any reasonable request made by management.

Experience:
As the HSEQ Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our employees by creating a safe work environment. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisation by implementing effective safety policies and procedures.
You must have a minimum 2 years Health and Safety experience in a safety critical/ construction industry.
Qualifications:
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety preferable.
IOSH Managing Safely preferable.

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
