This role is based in Epsom and Barbican, with equal time spent in each. This is an office-based role

As our Health, Safety and Facilities Manager you'll be responsible for Support Offices in Epsom and Barbican, ensuing that they are clean, tidy along with creating a safe and healthy working environment for all staff and visitors to Nuffield Health.
The Health, Safety and Facilities Manager will lead, motivate, supervise and develop the clean team, ensuring that there is consistency in service across both Epsom and Barbican offices, with responsibility for health & safety, cleaning and waste services across both Support Offices defining departmental objectives, monitoring progress and ensuring these are achieved.
As our Health, Safety and Facilities Manager, you will:
Responsible for effective people management including recruitment, development, deployment, performance review, attendance management, resolution of employee relations issues (e.g. requests to work flexibly or part time, disciplinary and grievance matters).
Assist clean team leaders with cleaning schedules and deep clean planning.
Be responsible for implementation of and compliance with all relevant standard and legislation, including health & safety.
Oversee cleaning services, waste and associated stock within both offices, and organise the repair of cleaning equipment as required.
Ensure the post room is serviced daily including all post is scanned and sent to the appropriate teams and that the franking machine is topped up regularly.
Interact with all Suppliers and Maintenance Providers and ensure they are supported onsite and have had a site induction completed and documented.
Hold effective departmental meetings.
Work with the Building Service Engineers, ensuring the high standards of the office are kept to.
Ensure that all supplier paperwork is maintained to the standards required (including staff records and DBS checks) and that the team are maintaining health and safety guidance in relation to COSHH.
Be responsible for implementation of and compliance with all relevant standard and legislation, including health & safety.
Be an Epsom and Barbican offices 'go to' for all ISO and H&S audits, internal and external, action plans and objectives are kept up to date
Be an active and key member of the Health and Safety Committee.

Monitor all policy violations and manage them within policy.
Be able to juggle the delicate balancing act of process versus the exception to these.
Think a little outside the box and always look for ways to improve the service we provide.
Be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
