Job Title: Health and Safety Manager
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
Location: Wednesbury
Contract: Permanent, full time
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.00 – 4.30 pm

Our established and leading Manufacturing client are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their company. This is an exciting opportunity for someone come in and drive and promote the Health and Safety Culture within our client.

The successful candidate will need to have previous Health and Safety Management within a manufacturing business and be qualified to NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent.

SKILLS REQUIRED
Proven experience in Health and Safety Management in Manufacturing
Minimum NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO
Knowledge of COSHH system requirements is desirable.
 Full UK Drivers licence to drive to local other site
Good planning and organisational skills
Proficient user of all MS Office including; Excel, Word, and Outlook etc
RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively drive world class manufacturing
Awareness in legislation and advise employee and managers.
Implement the health and safety management system.
Ensure all documentation is controlled.
Monitor compliance adhering to company policies
Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are currently reported and investigated
Undertake internal audits and produce findings in reports
Support onboarding of new employees within the factory
