Reporting to the Board, you will actively assist in the operation and delivery of an effective Health, Safety & Environment & Quality Management Programme, ensuring compliance and continual improvement. Duties will include:
- Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout the company
- Develop and improve health and safety management systems
- Manage delivery of a structured programme of internal audits
- Be the main contact within the Company for HSEQ-related external audits
- Verify compliance with health and safety legislation and incorporate any updates into the health and safety management system
- Provide support to directors and managers, helping them to improve health and safety performance
- Ensure quality & environmental objectives are in line with the strategic vision and goals of the business
- Keep up to date with applicable legislation
- Analyse audit findings, incident investigations, etc. to identify opportunities for improvement
Criteria:
- NEBOSH or IOSH Qualification
- 3-5 yrs experience in a similar HSEQ / Health, Safety, Environmental role
- Experience in delivering presentations / leading training sessions
- Ability to demonstrate a drive and passion of continual improvement.
