Are you a pro-active coordinator, with a drive for providing strong guidance and recommendations to various teams with regards to Health & Safety? As Health and Safety Officer, you’ll be at the heart of the company, ensuring all business functions meet and exceed industry standards for their health and safety practices.

Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Officer include:
- Establishing and implementing effective systems to ensure the company meets all statutory obligations pertaining to health, safety, welfare at work
- Ensuring all policies, practices and procedures are in line with industry standards, are being adhered to and reviewed regularly
- Keeping up-to-date with industry changes and relevant health and safety legislation and communicate appropriate action required
- Providing regular reports to the Board of Directors/ Senior Management team on Health & Safety activities
- Overseeing and facilitating all related procedures covering Health & Safety, for example evacuations, site access, etc.
As Health & Safety Officer, you’ll have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 3)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role that managed health and safety investigations
- Experience in establishing, implementing and reviewing Health & Safety policies
- The ability to collaborate with various teams to complete tasks and implement improvements
- Demonstrable leadership qualities, from experience in a similar role
- Strong IT skills and confidence in reporting.
