Health & Social Care Teacher – South Birmingham

Start date – January 2024

Full Time position (temporary)  

Pay rates vary between £130 to £200 per day depending on experience.

TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school based in South Birmingham. The school is rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and prides itself on supporting students achieve their full potential .

The full-time role starts Janaury 2024 and the school is looking to invite candidates to trial. The successful candidate would be working across KS4/KS5 delivering Health & Social Care. Your role is to follow and implement the relevant schemes of learning whilst working closely with the Head of Faculty.  

The Senior Leadership Team and the Head of Department will offer excellent support and will provide an encouraging and supportive environment.

Applicants need to have the following:

• QTS
• Experience teaching Health & Social Care
• Excellent classroom management
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
• Instructors are also encouraged to apply as well as educators working towards QTLS.
