About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our AML Team at the West Middlesex MRI Centre.
Located in West Middlesex University Hospital, providing high-quality MRI and DEXA scans for: NHS, Private Medical Insurance and Private Self-Pay patients.
In this role you will be assisting Radiographers with positioning patients for scans alongside chaperoning patients where necessary. Administration tasks may also be included ss part of the role with assisting with booking scans/basic data input.

Skills And Experience
The candidate should have experience in a Healthcare environment as they will be required to provide both administration and customer/patient, support including chaperoning patients and assisting the MRI Radiographers throughout the MRI scanning process. They will also have a commitment to some admin duties related to the patient pathway in line with standard guidelines. To be successful in this role they must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills and the ability to understand and comply with radiation protection protocols. Excellent patient care skills are essential.
Attention to detail is key, along with being flexible, organized and having an enthusiastic attitude.
You will need to be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and under pressure, meeting deadlines and turn- around times.
To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills. A flexible, organized and enthusiastic attitude is essential with a good attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting the patient pathway (inc. on and off the scanner)
- Supporting the clinical team with day to day running
- Up dating clinical systems such as CPM
- Organsing and rotating stock
- Pre and post assessment of patients
- Completing audits where required
- Ensuring they deliver high quality patient care
