Pay rate:
£14.00 per hour during the week,
£15.00 on the weekend and £16.00 for weekend nights (WEEKLY PAY)
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday Days & nights available
Some shifts available:
4pm - 9pm
10pm - 9am
9am - 8pm
10am - 6pm (Saturdays)
There can be some variation based on term/non-term time, as the individual you would be supporting is currently in college.
Location: Lincoln
Unfortunately we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis, you must currently be based in the Lincoln area.
Requirements:
  • Worked as a carer previously in the UK (Preferably atleast 6 months experience)
  • Hold a Full UK Drivers license (Mandatory)
  • Experience working closely with families of the supported (Preferred)
  • Experience working with/supporting young adults (Preferred)
  • Experience working with brain injuries would be beneficial but not essential
This role will be supporting a lovely young lady who suffers from Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy & severe Dystonia.
She also has chronic lung disease and requires tracheostomy and ventilation support.
This is a complex role and so applicants should be confident/have some experience with at least some of the above.
This position is open to female support workers only, due to the family & client preference
At Team Brain Injury, we support adults and young people who have needs attributed to Brain/Spinal injuries and or Mental Health conditions with associated complex needs.

  • Potentially administer medication and Ideally hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care or related topic, or be willing to study towards this
