Form of workWe are currently seeking a Locum Healthcare Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality care to patients across a variety of healthcare settings throughout the UK. As a Locum Healthcare Assistant, you will work on a temporary basis in a range of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and GP surgeries. Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Help patients with mobility and transferring
- Assist with meals and hydration
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
- Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
