Position Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary responsibility is to provide personal care, assistance and support to residents whilst making a real difference to their lives every day .

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care
• Administer medication and record on correct documentation.
• Prepare food and drink to support nutrition and hydration.
• Support with household tasks, like washing, ironing, housework, assisting with shopping, and community activities.
• Recognise signs of illness or changes in people's physical or emotional well-being, and follow the correct channels for help and support.
• Provide comfort to those at the end of their lives and their families, offering sympathetic and empathic support.
• Look after people as if they were your own family while still respecting professional boundaries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Healthcare Assistant in UK.
• In-Date DBS.
• Completed mandatory training in the last 12 months.
• Previous experience in personal care, medication administration, and supporting daily living activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide empathic support, especially during sensitive situations.
