Overview:   

As a Healthcare Operations Manager at a specialist Primary Care category, you will be the CQC Registered Manager responsible for the operational aspects of healthcare provisions. Your role involves collaborating with the senior management team to ensure governance and quality care services align with NHS standards. Reporting to the Regional Manager, your contributions will actively support strategic planning and the growth of the division.   
    
Location:   
The Healthcare Operations Manager role is based in Falfield, South Gloucestershire, easily accessible from surrounding areas.   
    
Requirements:
Strong and compassionate leadership ability with evidence of management training.
Clinical registration as a professional (NMC, GPHC, or HCPC).
Experience working in a healthcare setting, with a background in governance frameworks, team management, and HR processes.
Commitment to professional development and a willingness to engage in internal and external opportunities.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
Pro-actively manage on-site healthcare services as the Head of Healthcare, maintaining the strategic direction and meeting contractual requirements and targets from NHS England.
Responsible for delivering a highly functional clinical service within the budget, with support from the finance business partner and regional manager.
Form part of the wider site senior leadership team, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the contract's functionality and full integration of healthcare services within the site.
Ensure team members receive appropriate supervision and performance appraisal to achieve agreed standards.
Act as the CQC registered manager and implement internal and external policies and procedures, particularly those with statutory implications.
Pro-actively lead the service, inspire trust, and motivate the team, recognizing the workforce as the most valuable asset.
Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, fostering a culture of shared learning.
 
Interview Process:   
Two stages, including an informal telephone interview and a formal stage with the Regional Manager.
