About the role:
The Academy is looking to appoint a Healthcare Teaching Assistant to join our Support Team on a fixed term basis until the end of summer term 2024. We are looking to recruit someone with a child centered approach and excellent people skills to support students effectively in order for them to fully participate in learning. You will be joining a dynamic and exciting department, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing personal care and manual handling training.
The successful candidate will have experience of working closely with students, both individually and as a group, with effective communication skills to liaise closely and collaborate with staff throughout the Academy. You will have demonstrable experience in attending to the personal needs of students and implementation of related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first-aid and welfare matters.
