Job description

Randstad is working with a leading provider of sustainable heating solutions, specialising in the installation and maintenance of state-of-the-art Heat Pump systems. We are expanding our operations and are currently seeking a skilled Heat Pump Installation Engineer to join our team in Bristol. Job Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Commissioning:

    • Execute the installation of diverse Heat Pump systems in residential and commercial settings in Bristol.
    • Ensure installations comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and local regulations.
    • Conduct thorough system checks and commissioning to guarantee optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Technical Expertise:

    • Possess in-depth knowledge of various Heat Pump technologies and stay updated on industry advancements.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the installation process.
  3. Project Management:

    • Coordinate with project managers and clients to schedule installations, ensuring timely project completion.
    • Provide input on project time lines, resource requirements, and potential challenges.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of installed systems, including specifications, configurations, and any modifications made during installation.
    • Generate comprehensive reports for clients and internal teams, detailing project progress and outcomes.
  5. Customer Interaction:

    • Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns during the installation process.
    • Provide client training on system operation and maintenance procedures.
  6. Safety Compliance:

    • Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
    • Conduct safety assessments before and after installations to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Heat Pump installations, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems.
  • Relevant certifications in Heat Pump technology and installation practices.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
