Job description

HEINEKEN Finance Graduate Programme
Start Date: 1st September 2024

Salary and Package: £30,000 plus some great benefits listed below.
Our two-year Finance Graduate Programme is designed to give you a 360 insight into what it’s like working in HEINEKEN UK’s Finance function and what it’s like to be part of both a market-leading brewer with world-renowned brands and a significant pub estate, whilst being supported by over 140 finance colleagues. During your programme, you’ll build on your financial skills and fully immerse yourself in the workings of the business. As a result, you could go on to a variety of roles within the finance team or indeed the wider world of HEINEKEN UK.
A bit about the role:
Graduates have an important part to play in our future and we provide an ideal environment for individuals to develop, whilst feeling valued and having fun whilst doing so. The Finance Graduate Programme offers 4 rotations over 2 years within multiple areas or functions (Reporting & Accounting, Process & Control Improvement, Business Partnering, Strategic Planning, Tax, or Procurement where you will have opportunities to learn, develop and make a real difference to HEINEKEN. You will also have the opportunity to embark on a course of professional study that could lead towards becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
Our 2024 graduate opportunities are based at our Edinburgh Head Office but may include travel to our London Office or production sites. You’ll need to be robust, flexible and adventurous, have an eye for detail and enjoy problem-solving and give it your best!
Who we’re looking for:
If you are currently studying Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or Commerce and on track for a 2:1 degree by September 2024, or you’ve recently graduated we’d like to hear from you!
Why pick us?
“I have just finished my 2 years on the Graduate Programme. The recruitment process was brilliant and really felt personal to me. The assessment centre felt like it was designed to get to know my personality better, rather than a really daunting interview. My day-to-day working life is varied, with lots of different challenges, but also lots of support from many colleagues.
I have focused on and developed a number of key transferable skills such as stakeholder management, negotiation skills and self-confidence. Overall, the Graduate Programme has helped me experience multiple perspectives of the business, providing me with clear insight as to where I wish to work in my future career. Very happy with the way it has gone.” Varinder, 2nd Year Graduate Programme.

The Good Bits:
As part of the team, along with your salary, you’ll also receive;

  • An annual bonus,
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare,
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%),
